The Lake Chapala area is going to be more important every day because of the excellent weather and better services for foreigners, especially health care, clinics, bilingual doctors, good hotels and world-class B&Bs, great commercial malls, and more. It is an excellent place to invest and an excellent place to live.

LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

I am originally from Colima in the state of the same name. I began my university studies here in Mexico and finished them in Belgium and Austria, where I received degrees in Linguistics and Tourism Management. I am fluent not only in my native Spanish, but also in English and French. I believe my years abroad make me well suited to working with foreigners, whether from the U.S., Canada, Europe or any other country. I know what it is like to adapt to another culture and environment.

My wife, our teenaged son and I love it here, and feel as if we have lived here forever. We thoroughly enjoy the weather, the great schools, the overall atmosphere, and being near Guadalajara and the international airport.

People are very nice and very friendly here. It is a pleasant, easy-going life. We especially like how well the foreign community adapts, how they have organized many cultural groups and charitable foundations in which they remain active.
